This is my second Blu-Ray player (my other one is a PS3). I wanted something for the bedroom and since I already have a Roku player for the living room, streaming Netflix was a plus. Got the unit last night and immediately upgraded the firmware. I was very happy to see that the player downloaded

So I just wanted to bring up a few points others didn't about this laptop.
It takes 3.5 hours to charge the 6 cell battery from empty to full.
The mouse is annoying as heck. If u plan on using this as a regular all day computer for God sake buy a mouse.

I found these discounted for $40 for the pair. There was nothing to loose in buying them. I connected them to a passive subwoofer that has left and right speaker out channels to implement a crossover. These speakers are splendid for the mostly low volume listening we do in our sitting room while dr
